Many aspects of our perceptual experience are dominated by the fact that our two eyes point forward. Each eye sees a different field of vision, but the brain reconciles these visions into a unified visual cognition and adds something new: depth. The perception of depth arises from the way the brain unifies the two fields of view. In 'Parallax,' Mau Maioli directly accesses this three-dimensional structure of our brain, and through sound, projects images into our minds that make us sure that music is truly a powerful way to access virtual realities. The EP also features brilliant remixes by Paulo Foltz, Phouz and Hc Kurtz.
